Altered Altoid Tin

Well, I've been slacking on blog posts lately! Life has been busy, and I haven't gotten much crafty time in. I did recently complete this project for a swap I'm in with the All Things Tim yahoo group. We had to somehow alter a mint tin (Altoids in this case) and send it off to a partner in the swap group. Mine is a bit atypical because it's not just a decorated tin that can open and close and hold stuff. I had envisioned having it as a part of a whole scene. I made two of these because I knew that I would want one to keep too. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out! There is definitely a nice garden vibe and I got to use the really cool Tim Holtz faucet handles that I've been wanting to use for some project. I hope you enjoy it!

  3. I love how the tin looks like a brick wall with the faucet and flowers, then I saw the frog on the back! If I was a frog I would want to hang out in your garden!
